To EWM 2/4/03 -- 12/22/97
A journey man with silver tail points across time to a tick beyond the winter's solstice nearly a century distant covering memories and love and works of a life in its wake. From the living eye much was seen but from the scan of heaven only a flash among many, yet with its own radiance brief as are all but bright with its own distinction. He had no knowledge of his keenness or maybe just a side-long glint of self-sight lost to quickly in the press of caring. But those whose ways were illuminated by that sweet light which first flickered before flight stumbled less than if some more distant beacon had been lit for us. And so we travel on as we were shown trying to cut our own road through our time with the gifts of such sights as we were able to see for nearly a hundred years. Thursday, December 25, 1997
